Download Obsid from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Open the app and you can start logging push-ups immediately — no account required. Your data is saved locally on your device.
If you want to sync across multiple devices or back up your progress to the cloud, create a free account in the Profile tab.
No. Obsid works fully offline without an account. All your workouts, levels, and achievements are saved locally.
Creating a free account enables: cloud backup, cross-device sync, and access to your data if you switch phones.
Yes. Obsid is available on both platforms:
Both versions have feature parity. Your data syncs seamlessly between platforms when signed in.
Obsid comes with a pre-built 7-day plan covering chest, back, shoulders, core, full body, and recovery days. You can customize the plan in Settings → Training Plan.
Tap any day in the weekly strip on the Home screen to preview or edit that day's exercises.
Open the Train tab and tap the big circle to count each rep. When your set is complete, tap the checkmark. The reps are logged instantly and count toward your daily goal.
Obsid supports 7 core movement categories with dozens of individual exercises:
Your streak increases by 1 each day you complete at least one set of push-ups (or log a rest day). Missing a day resets your streak to 0.
Rest days count — consistency matters more than intensity. Log a rest day in the Calendar tab to protect your streak.
Yes. Open the Calendar tab, tap on a past date, and select "Add Workout". You can log reps, sets, and the exercise type for up to 7 days in the past.
Go to Profile → Settings and enable the Health toggle. You'll be prompted to grant permissions for workout data, active energy, and heart rate. You can control each permission individually in your iPhone's Health app.
Once connected, every completed workout is automatically written to Apple Health as a strength training session.
Go to Profile → Settings and enable the Health toggle. Make sure you have the Health Connect app installed (available on Google Play). Grant the requested permissions.
Obsid syncs exercise sessions, calories burned, and rep counts to Health Connect after each workout.
Obsid writes workout data: exercise session type and duration, estimated calories burned, and rep count.
On iOS, Obsid also reads heart rate (to show live BPM during workouts and session summaries) and reads height and weight to improve calorie estimates. You can revoke access at any time from your device's privacy settings.
No. Health platform data (Apple Health, Google Health Connect) is managed entirely by those platforms. Obsid only reads/writes data through them — we do not store health platform data on our servers.
Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all cloud-synced data.
This action is irreversible. Export your data first if you want to keep a copy.
Go to Profile → Settings → Export Data. You can export your full workout history as CSV or JSON. The file includes all sessions, rep counts, timestamps, and exercise types.
Install Obsid on your new phone and sign in with the same account. Your progress, level, streaks, and achievements will sync automatically.
Yes — the core Obsid experience is completely free. This includes rep tracking, streak calendar, the full leveling system, achievements, and health app integration.
Obsid Pro (optional) unlocks advanced analytics, custom training plans, and priority support.
Subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play, not Obsid directly.
You keep access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
